Terms and Conditions – Estates Brokerage

By signing up and/or purchasing the FC with Thonhart’s Estates & Housing (‘we’/ ‘us’/ ‘our’), the commissioner (‘you’/ ‘client’) agrees to all the terms & conditions in this document.

We only accept the brokerage of the FC & the associated FC estates in our serviceable worlds, which currently include:

• We reserve the right to choose not to accept any transaction based on our discretion.

What is included in the estate brokerage purchase?

• When you agree to purchase the FC with us, we will provide you with:
  • The Free Company (‘FC’)
  • Any FC house/plot associated with that FC
  • The workshop, airships and/or submersibles, and any associated items (only in selected FC)
    
• Please note that the workshop, airships and/or submersibles are not available in all FC we offer. Please carefully check all the specifications before you purchase.

Cost of estate brokerage

• The total cost varies between each estate, depending on the FC rank, FC house size, location, plot, workshop rank, and other factors. Please refer to the Estates Brokerage website for the specific price of the FC you wish to purchase.
  
• Upon purchasing, you are required to pay the
  • 50% Estate Brokerage Fee (‘Brokerage Fee’) as a non-refundable deposit upfront, and
  • The remaining 50% of the Brokerage Fee is due on the 31st day after you have joined the FC.
    
• All Brokerage Fees, including the upfront deposit, are non-refundable.

• Optionally, you can also choose to commission the FC house together with your estate brokerage purchase. Please see the Housing Commission website for more details.

Payment

• Prior to commencement, the client is required to pay 50% of the Brokerage Fee upfront.
  
• Please wait for our confirmation before transferring any fee to us. You may be required to agree to the Terms and Conditions using the in-game chat function.

• The Brokerage Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances unless noted in the Right to Terminate section of this document.
  
• Payment may be made using the in-game trade function, in-game mail service, mannequin gear purchase, or FC chest, where applicable.

Timeframe

• Due to the in-game FC restriction put in place, any transfer of FC ownership is subject to a 30-day cooldown period (the ‘Cooldown Period’). During this period, any new FC member who joined the FC will not be able to become the master of the FC. Due to this limitation, you will be required to remain in the FC that you wishes to purchase for a minimum of 30 days prior to the ownership transfer.
  
• If you purchased the housing commission together with your Estate Brokerage service, please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Housing Commission to see the timeframe of the housing commission, which is separate from the Estate Brokerage timeframe.
  
• In the event of the game being inaccessible, e.g. due to server maintenance, the Cooldown Period will continue unless noted by Square Enix.

• Depending on the game restriction at the time, the estimated Cooldown Period may be subject to change without prior notice. If the Cooldown Period is shortened, we may be able to expedite your purchase, meanwhile, if it is extended, you may also be subject to the increased restriction that is out of our control.

FC permission limitations during the Cooldown Period

• During the Cooldown Period, you will be given the prospective buyer FC rank, which allows you to
  • Rename the FC (if at the time, the FC name can be renamed)
  • Rename the FC tag
  • Rename the FC house name, greeting message, and tags
  • Access the FC house, and its functionality, including but not limited to access to the house, stabling chocobos, accessing workshops (if applicable), accessing the airships/submersibles system (if appliable), teleport access
  • Access the FC chest
    
• During the Cooldown Period, you will not be allowed to
  • Transfer the FC lead
  • Edit FC rank permission setting
  • Promote/Demote FC member (you can make a request to us, and subject to our discretion, we may permit those requests)
  • Construct/remove the workshop, airships/submersibles
  • Construct/remove the FC house
  • Leave the FC
    
• You are allowed to add any other FC members alongside you, they will also be subjected to the T&Cs outlined above.
  
• Where possible, we can create multiple ranks for each of your FC members that joined the FC alongside you, provided that those request doesn’t violates any of the T&Cs above.

• Should you wish to be granted any of the prohibited actions (e.g. Edit FC rank/permission settings yourself, or others’ permission), you can opt-in to pay the remaining 50% of the Brokerage Fee immediately. Once the entire Brokerage Fee has been received in full, we can grant you complete control of all FC features (excluding the transfer of FC lead until the Cooldown Period lapses) immediately. Note that, any paid Brokerage Fee is non-refundable.

Making changes to the FC

• If the purchased FC doesn’t include the workshop, airships and/or submersibles, you can request us to unlock such features for you. You will be subjected to the additional payment required to unlock such a feature which is payable upfront.
  
• If you decide to commission your house with us together with your Estate Brokerage, we will do the commission during this Cooldown Period.

Right to terminate

• We reserve the right to terminate any service at any point. The Brokerage fee will be returned to you in full if we request the termination of the service.
  
• You, the client, have the right to terminate the service at any given point by giving a 24-hour notice. If you choose to do so, the Brokerage fee or any other fee and/or deposit that you have paid will not be refunded.

• Under unexpected circumstances or force majeure, we reserve the right to terminate the commission without prior notice. The Brokerage Fee and any other fee and/or deposit will be returned to you where applicable. In the case that the game is inaccessible (e.g., server maintenance or the game discontinuation), we reserve the right to not refund any Commission or unused Furniture Deposit if it is not possible to do so.
