1. We are revising how we accept payment for housing commissions.
Due to recent incidences of customer non-payment after the design is completed, we are revising when we take the payment for any future Housing Commissions. Please see our updated commission process below.
In summary, we will start collecting a 50% non-refundable Commission fee upfront before we begin designing your house, and we will collect the remaining 50% of the Commission fee, as well as the Furniture deposit fee when we have mostly finalised the design and ready to start implementing them in the game.
Please note that the Commission fee is non-refundable, in the case that you decide to cancel your commission project halfway after we are designing/have completed the design of your house, as this commission fee reflects our designing time and resources spent to design your house. We appreciate your understanding on this matter as we implement the change for any new commission going forward.

2. We are updating our ToS to reflect the case where the client stops communication mid-project
Effective for any upcoming commission request, if we have attempted to communicate with you and received no response for 14 days, or if we fail to communicate with the client (e.g., due to the client’s terminating their online account or refusing to reply), we reserve the right to cancel the commission without subsequent notice. Any paid fee will not be refunded.
If your circumstances have changed, we’re happy to discuss possible alternative arrangements with you, so please get in touch. We’re happy to help where possible.
We also reserve the right to refuse any subsequent service from a client who cancelled the project without informing us/non-payment/ghosting without informing us.
